Some art is made to be worn, and some is made to give back. This month, Monique Andujo of @monique_tattoos is holding a tattoo raffle in memory of Carissa, her husband’s little sister, who passed away from cancer in 2008.
While Carissa was fighting cancer, a program at Rady Children’s Hospital in San Diego helped comfort her and her family. It covers the costs that medical insurance doesn’t, like psychosocial support, meals and transportation. Every dollar raised in this raffle goes to that program, so it can do the same for other families going through it now.
